Pardons for Elderlies
One of the cultures I don’t like in Japan is that people think older people are superior to younger people. Even in companies and schools, this hidden culture still remains. I’m not saying older people are not worth paying respect. Older people who made mistakes aren’t blamed that much, but when young people do something wrong, people blame on them harshly. We should be treated equally without being bound by their age and background. In that point, people in Western countries communicate more casually with people regardless of their ages. That is one of the reasons why I want to live abroad.
